DESCRIPTION:To help us celebrate the opening of our newly renovated home at 2 E Main Street\, we?re inviting the community join us for McVicker Plaza?s Grand Opening & Ribbon-Cutting on Friday\, September 21st at 4:30pm. \n\nTwo full days of events are planned for Thursday\, September 20th and Friday\, September 21st\, including tours\, announcement of collaborative co-working space programs\, and more. A highlight of the two days of events will be a book-signing event with Melody Warnick\, author of ?This is Where You Belong?. \n\n\n\nDo you know a dynamic 'change maker' in our community? Maybe someone with amazing ideas but without community connections? Please consider nominating them for our Community Involvement Workshop!\n\nAs part of our Grand Opening events for McVicker Plaza\, the VCDC will host a Community Involvement workshop with Melody Warnick\, author of This is Where You Belong (more about Melody here).  This engagement workshop is aimed at those who find themselves well integrated into the Vermillion community\, as well as those who are looking to forge deeper connections. Idea folks of all ages\, backgrounds or experience are welcome. Participants can expect dynamic opportunities for exchange\, networking\, and building community.\n\n\n\nTo nominate an individual\, please email our staff at VCDC@VermillionChamber.com.\n\n\n\nTo participate in this workshop on Thursday\, September 20th\, from 2 to 4 pm in McVicker Plaza\, please register online by clicking on the 'Register Now' button above.
