DESCRIPTION:Locals will be gathering again this year for an early Thursday on the Platz to enjoy a spring evening with local music\, exhibits on how to green up their lives\, barbequed and grilled food and fresh\, local food from the farmers market. All this is part of Vermillion's celebration of Earth Days 2018. Activities for the young ones include a bounce house\, face painting\, a gardening project\, and arts and crafts. The Heartland Humane Society will stroll around\, showing off dogs who need forever homes. And Care for Critters encourages students to bring their dogs on leashes\, of course. Humbletown\, an eclectic folk duo\, will entertain with original and cover songs from folk to bluegrass to jazz. Co-sponsored by Vermillion Area Chamber & Development Company and Greening Vermillion.
