Description
This community drive underscores the importance of keeping blood donations local, ensuring that patients at Sanford Vermillion have access to the blood products they need when they need them. As a thank you gift, all who donate will receive a $15 Dairy Queen gift card.
Those wishing to donate blood may contact the school at 605-677-7035.
This is one of three blood drives the Community Blood Bank is hosting in September.
Why Donate Locally
Blood donated at these drives helps supply Sanford Vermillion, ensuring that surgery patients, cancer patients, trauma victims, and others in the local community have access to a safe, reliable blood supply without delay. A single donation can help save up to three lives.
A person must be at least 17 years old (16 with signed parental consent), weigh 110 lbs. or more, and be in good general health. Please bring a valid I.D. with you for your donation. Don't forget to hydrate.
