"Mission JOY: Finding Happiness in Troubled Times" (online video)
Free on-demand via the Edith B. Siegrist Vermillion Public Library (18 Church St.) after registration.
“Mission JOY: Finding Happiness in Troubled Times” is a manifesto for living lightly in dark times. Through laughter and conversation, the Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu invite the listener to imagine joy as something communal—stemming from connection with and love for others—and compatible with suffering.
Registration is required through the Vermillion Public Library. Then, a Google link will be provided to view the 1 hour and 30-minute documentary video. Kendra Brewer is the point of contact at the library for questions.
Also see the book discussion in the Kozak Room of the library based on the same conversation, Book of Joy: Lasting Happiness in a Changing World, Tuesday, April 19, 2022, 6:30 pm.
