Feeding SD Food Giveaway in Vermillion

Vermillion Food Pantry, The Welcome Table's Weekend Backpack Program, and Feeding South Dakota are joining forces to put on the second Feeding Vermillion Food Giveaway. In a single day, over 20,000 pounds of food will be distributed to approximately 300 families in our community.
With almost 60% of Clay County's population qualifying for food assistance, our organizations are looking for bigger & better ways to provide the needed help. Volunteers are needed to help out throughout the day, by hosting a table to showcase nonprofit services your organization offers to low or middle income families, or by bringing a snack/treat to pass for those that have finished shopping.
