Habitat for Humanity of Clay and Yankton Counties will hold a groundbreaking ceremony at 3 p.m. on July 14 to mark the start of construction on two affordable single-family homes on two lots in the new Jack Powell Addition in Vermillion.

The project is a partnership with the Vermillion Area Chamber and Development Company and the City of Vermillion and responds to a clear local need for affordable homeownership opportunities.
