Description
MOVIES IN MANSIONS: CASPER (1995)
We're kicking off our Free Community Movie Mondays in October with a friendly ghost and a very haunted house!
Casper stars Christina Ricci, Bill Pullman, Cathy Moriarty, and Eric Idle, with Malachi Pearson providing the voice of Casper (and Devon Sawa). The story follows a young girl and her ghost-therapist father as they move into the haunted Whipstaff Manor and meet its supernatural residents.
FUN FACT: Casper was a visual-effects milestone. Casper was the first fully computer-generated character to have a leading role in a feature film. During filming, Christina Ricci and Bill Pullman actually had to act opposite tennis balls where the ghosts would later be added.
Come enjoy this '90s spooky favorite on the big screen, FREE for the community thanks to Hy-Vee Vermillion!
