Description
The University of South Dakota Department of Theatre is preparing for the second show of their season, Lauren Gunderson’s anthropology. This play runs in the Arena Theatre from October 22 through October 25.
Merril will do anything to find her sister’s kidnapper, and she’s comfortable enough with technology to use those tools to her advantage. But how comfortable is too comfortable? This is a play for true crime junkies, technological early adopters, and people who are more than a little unnerved about our future relationship with AI.
Audiences may recognize Lauren Gunderson’s name from our 2023 production of Ada and the Engine, but this script represents a much darker turn for the award-winning playwright.
