Since 2014, Hosmer has interviewed approximately 170 World War II veterans, gathering their eyewitness accounts, sacrifices, and local ties into his book, Yankton’s Yardbirds: Stories About Yankton and Its World War II Veterans.
Come hear the remarkable real-life stories of regional heroes, learn about the decade-long effort to document their legacies, and participate in an open Q&A with the author.
