About Us
Heartland Psychological Services is a South Dakota non-profit corporation founded in 1991 by Joe Blackinton, PhD. We are a counseling agency in southeastern South Dakota with locations in Yankton and Vermillion. We are committed to providing professional, compassionate out-patient therapy to clients of all ages. We work with children, adolescents and adults of all ages. With a dedicated team of mental health professionals, we strive to meet the needs of clients throughout the area by utilizing a variety of psychological services.
