The 8th Annual River Honoring will take place at Clay County Park on Sunday June 9th. It begins at 3:30 with Plein Aire Watercolor painting, with supplies and tips offered by Sharon Gray studios.
At 4:30, kids activities begin with the National Park Rangers offering hikes and the Interpreter mobile. There will also be a Kids Art and Craft table offered by River Honoring volunteers.
The Community Potluck begins at 5pm, with the community bringing all their favorite food to share.
The River Honoring, with Dr. Gary Cheeseman from USD, will begin at 6pm.
Live music by the band East of Westerville will begin following the River Honoring Music by local band Fine Mess will follow the first band.
Rural Cloud Museum will present the We River River Weave during the Fine Mess performance.
