The USD Symphony presents A Celebration of "US" Series III-From Ives to Williams, the Crossover of American Music on Friday, Feb. 27 at 7:30 p.m. at Aalfs Auditorium on USD's Vermillion campus.

The concert introduces Ives' Symphony No. 2, a melting pot of European classical music and American vernacular music. The program also included works by John Williams, the latest American icon and works by the winner of the 2026 USD Composition Competition.

As part of Vermillion's celebration to USA's 250th Birthday, the USD Symphony has titled their 2025-2026 season A Celebration of "US."
