The Edith B. Siegrist Vermillion Public Library is hosting an informative slide presentation on the infamous Magdalene Laundries of Ireland, Sunday, September 22nd starting at 1:00 pm. Presented by Marcella Remund, the presentation will take viewers through one woman’s pilgrimage to Ireland, and her search for information and inspiration on these notorious institutions, as well as their aftermath. This event is free and open to the public.
