Music enthusiasts of all ages are invited to join us for an afternoon of fun at the National Music Museum’s Family Fun Day on Saturday, July 27, from 1 to 4 p.m. Music crafts, games, and gallery bingo, will begin in the Museum, with a special musical performance by acclaimed children’s musician Phil Baker.
Baker, renowned for his engaging performances and educational songs, will perform live on the lawn north of the NMM at 2:30, with refreshments to follow.
Bring your lawn chair, but don’t plan on sitting still! Baker actively involves children by incorporating actions and interactive elements into his songs, fostering an inclusive and enjoyable atmosphere for families. His music features rich chords, vibrant rhythms, and influences from diverse genres, ensuring a dynamic musical experience for everyone.
"We are thrilled to host Phil Baker at the National Music Museum Family Fun Day," said Dwight Vaught, Director of the National Music Museum. "His unique ability to blend music and storytelling captivates audiences of all ages, making this event a perfect outing for families looking to enjoy music and creativity together."
