Description
Celebration of the National Park Service’s 100th birthday. Enjoy music, dancing, river art, hands-on activities, appearances by National Park Service rangers and junior rangers and a special guest appearance and speech by Theodore Roosevelt! A modern re-creation of the 26th president will be performed by Adam Lundquist @ 7:00.
Settled within a 98-mile ribbon of the Missouri River, from Fort Randall Dam at Pickstown to Ponca State Park, the Missouri National Recreational River was established in 1978. One of seven National Park Service sites in South Dakota, it contains national heritage areas, historic trails and two free-flowing segments of the Missouri River.
