Pegie Douglas, South Dakota Humanities Council Speakers Bureau Scholar and storyteller, introduces us to Badger Clark! Badger Clark is South Dakota’s first Poet Laureate, and lived in Custer State Park for 30 years. This fast-paced musical program includes a narration of Badger Clark’s life, along with his poetry set to music. Douglas will discuss Clark’s life, then sing one of his poems, while accompanying herself on guitar! In the Kozak Room.
