About Us
Community Blood Bank is a joint cooperative of Sanford USD Medical Center and Avera McKennon Hospital & University Health. We provide blood as the sole provider to 43 local area hospitals. We are the sole blood provider to Sanford Vermillion Medical Center. When you donate at one of our blood drive events in the Vermillion area, the blood will stay local and impact community patients' lives.
