Four performances, a fresh theatrical take on a beloved holiday classic and a festive three-course dinner await audiences. Tickets go on sale Nov. 8 at 9 a.m.
Vermillion Community Theatre (VCT) invites audiences to celebrate the season with a beloved holiday tradition — Charles Dickens’ timeless “A Christmas Carol.” Returning Dec. 11–13, this year’s production promises a fresh theatrical experience, new staging and a special partnership with Cee Cee’s 605 Scratch Kitchen & Bar that brings together the best of holiday storytelling and seasonal dining.
Whether you're discovering the story for the first time or returning for another dose of Christmas spirit, there's something new to experience. Following multiple years of sold-out performances, VCT is reimagining the classic tale with a fresh approach that will delight even those who attended a previous production.
Adapted by Amanda Dills and Katie Miller, “A Christmas Carol” tells the unforgettable story of Ebenezer Scrooge, a miser whose Christmas Eve encounters with three mysterious spirits lead him on a journey of reflection, redemption and rediscovering the joy of giving.
Directed by Olivia Lieber, produced by Anthony Burbach and musically directed by Sam Van Gerpen, the production features a talented ensemble of local performers spanning generations, showcasing the creativity and community spirit of America’s Best Small Town Arts Scene.
