The River Honoring is a free community potluck/music festival. This family friendly event is held annually at Clay County Park along the wild and scenic Missouri National Recreational River, just west of Vermillion. Bring a chair, a picnic, and get ready to enjoy live music and Native American perspective about the Missouri River.
A donation basket is open for the musicians and speakers. This event is sponsored by the River Appreciation Day for 6th Graders Committee, the Vermillion Cultural Association, the Vermillion Area Arts Council and the S.D. Arts Council.
