Welcome to the artsHUB, A New Community Connection Resource
The Vermillion Cultural Association (VCA) has launched a digital resource to connect artists and arts orgs with the community and each other, including an arts-only events calendar. VCA is hosting an in-person “Welcome to the artsHUB” exploration on Saturday, April 18, from 4-6 p.m. in the First Dakota Coyote Gallery. Old Lumber Company Grill and Bar has been crowned the winner of the 2026 Vermillion Pizza Battle. Their Maverick pizza earned the highest score from voters, impressing participants with its combination of pepperoni, bacon, cream cheese and jalapeños. Vermillion High School to Compete in Statewide Culinary Competition
Vermillion High School is one of 12 high schools from across South Dakota that will compete in the South Dakota ProStart® Invitational, a statewide competition focused on culinary arts and restaurant management, administered by the South Dakota Retailers Association.
